Environmental and Social Impacts Appraisal as Part of Feasibility studies for the proposed BRT Line-2 Anthony to Obalende, Lagos State

Lagos Area Metropolitan Transport Authority (LAMATA) contracted Integrated Transport Planning Limited (ITP) (UK) to conduct feasibility studies for the proposed BRT Line-2 Anthony to Obalende. The findings of the impact appraisal informed final decision making for the project design in order to minimize negative impacts of the proposed project on the environment and people. 

ITP engaged Triple 'E' Systems Associates Limited for local support for implementing the feasibility studies. Some present key members of EcoPro, Mr. Bartholomew Ndulue (Project Manager), and Mr. Obehi Eguakhide played lead roles in implementing the Feasibility Study; from field survey, stakeholders’ engagement, data analyses as well as Feasibility Report preparation.

The assignment was conducted in 2009.
