The Van Veen Grab is a mechanical sediment sampler used for the collection of disturbed surface sediments from rivers, lakes, reservoirs, estuaries, and marine environments. The sampler operates using a dual‑bucket clamshell mechanism that closes upon contact with the sediment bed, enabling recovery of representative material from the upper sediment layer. EcoPro Resources Limited provides two modified Van Veen Grab options for rental, both fabricated from stainless steel and configured without handles for rope‑ or winch‑based deployment, in line with standard ESIA field practices.
