Environmental Impact Assessment for a 275MW Power Generating Plant in Oluyole LGA (along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway), Oyo State, Nigeria

This EIA was implemented for a 275MW Gas Power Generating Plant in Ibadan, Nigeria. The proposed plant would utilise units of JGS 620 GS-N.L-F13 Reciprocating Engines manufactured by General Electric (GE). The achievement of the 275MW shall be phased with the first phase totalling 75MW. The second and last phase will achieve 75 and 125MW respectively. Each subsequent phase’s implementation shall commence after successful commissioning of the previous one. The Engines would be powered by natural gas supplied by Nigeria Gas Company (NGC) and transmitted over a distance of about 70km, from the Escravos-to-Lagos (ELP) Gas Pipeline System teeing off at Ibafo area of Ogun State.

The EIA was managed by Mr. Bartholomew Ndulue, presently a member of EcoPro team on behalf of Triple 'E' Systems Associates Limited.
